The Where`s of it all

Do you shop for your goodies online, at lots of different places, or get everything at your LSS?  With the industry changing ,a few shops and companies have closed. Have no fear though scrapbooking is going strong!! Below are a few places to get goodies!

There is Michaels and other big box stores that sell paper crafting supplies.( they can get pricey so join their email lists look for sales and coupons.)  There are catolgue companies like Stampin` Up!and Close to my heart. Chances are someone knows someone who is a Consultant. This can introduce you to gatherings, clubs or just to place to order. They sometimes have stock sales as well!

In home shops are a great source as well! Word of mouth may help you find one near you. For me there are 3 I like to go to. Laura at The Crop Hopper has a great choice of cardstock and hosts crops as well. Tammy at Dream Create & Share  has a small shop in her home, has classes and travels with her inventory to crops as well. Kristy from  Scrapbookingcafeonline has a shop at her home, and you can order online. She  travels with her inventory to crops, and hosts crops as well.
Local Scrapbook Stores/Shops ( LSS) are a great place to shop , take a class and find other addicted scrappers lol  Whenever I travel anywhere I always research to see if there is a shop in the area. For me The Cutting Garden would be my LSS. Kim has great supplies, can order in something , has classes, crops etc. I have met wonderful fellow crafters there!! Another store I go to sometimes is My Stamping Studio. The store is a distance away, but turning it into a day trip is always fun. The store has a great feel, and also hosts classes, crops etc.

Then there are online sites. I will admit I have only ordered online from 4 different places ( for anything ever lol) . I will not guess how many sites are out there ready to ship goodies to us. If you have not ordered paper crafting supplies online I suggest researching  the shipping rates to your address. You may be surprised what companies can ship to you cheaper then others.
Peachy Cheap features a different thing to sell and ship daily. Getting on  their mailing list to get daily emails has served me well. Scrapshotz is a Canadian company, and it is amazing how much Sandy from Scrapshotz can fit in a envelope and ship to you at a great price!
I had recently decided to join a Kit Club. That in itself brings lots of choices. There are many different companies, and deciding one is based on your budget, tastes and location. It has been fun getting a box of goodies already matching and shipped to my door! Again shipping costs vary. Look into the cost before deciding, because for example, a kit club in the same country as me has a higher shipping cost then another from a different country, a $10 difference actually!

One last note about the wheres of it all, yard sales and community facebook pages are awesome ways to find things. We all at some point have things in our stash that we will not use.  Being a seller or buyer it is a win win really!  Some LSS`s  host yard sale tables for their customers to sell items for store credit.

The unexpected finds are always the best, you never know what store has a corner dedicated to our craft. Stephanie at RC Wings & Wheels Hobby Supplies has just that. It would for the most part appear to be for models etc, however she has a selection of supplies.
Feel free to leave a comment if you have any other places you shop at!
